Given our share of the possession in games it is no surprise that goal scoring has been our weakness so far this season

The arrival of The Horse cannot come soon enough for most Imp fans. Fairy story Adrian Patulea apart the chances have by and large fallen to the wrong people. Here`s hoping for a huge improvement in this area in 2009. If it does we will be in the top 7 at least come May.

Shots

No surprises predator supreme Adrian Patulea is head and shoulders above his team mates.

Give him 3 shots and he will score.
He gets 1 in every 2.3 shots on target
He scores 1 goal every 131 minutes

It would be unfair to compare others to him, as the stats are pretty woeful. Individual records are available on a player-by-player basis on the Squad Home page on the club menu at the top of the page.

Lincoln are 7th in league 2 when it comes to shots at goal with 257 recognised shots. We have got 115 on target, missed 135 times and hit the woodwork 8 times. We are joint 12th when it comes to shots on target along with 3 other sides. Chesterfield have had the most shots 285, with Dagenham getting most on target – 155, two ahead of Chesterfield. Wycombe surprise, surprise are bottom of the table when it comes to overall shots (181) and shots on target (89). Despite being top of the league thay are the only side to fail to break the 200 barrier.
