There must be at least half a dozen good goalkeepers released from the Premiership or Championship each year that would be very happy to get a starting slot with a L1 side.”

Scotimp: “We’ll definitely need to sign a first choice keeper, Jeacock has 5 league appearances to his name (conceded 16 goals) and Pardington only 3 appearances (conceded 4 goals). At least we have the money to pay a fee for a decent one, if required.”
