Reports ahead of the game against Aldershot suggest the Imps could be about to deploy a tactical striking weapon as they fight to avoid relegation.

Reports have come in that defender Patrick Kanyuka was played as a striker in the reserve fixture against Scunthorpe yesterday as the Imps second string ran out 2-0 victors.

Although he didn’t score he has the physique and presence to almost match man mountain Delroy Facey who the Imps sorely miss up front.
