Rochdale 0-2 Lincoln City: Match Stats, Highlights & Views From The Forum

Views from Merthyr Imp following yesterday’s 2-0 win away at Rochdale in League One: “We were back to our best in the second half, and were pretty good in the first half.

Two good goals, the first very well taken by Jones considering he’s a right-footed player.

Everyone was on top of their game, and well as Robbie Gotts had been playing recently I thought Eyoma was even better today. Another excellent game from Tom Hopper, although I wondered if he might understandably be tiring towards the end and wondered if Scully might replace him – but I expect he can have a rest next Tuesday.”

More views from the Match Thread:

Rasenimp: “Very effective away performance – first half we didn’t play as well as we can and was even, but still created a very good goal. Second half we looked like the team near the top and bossed it really.

Good performances from Jones, McGrandles and Monstma in particular I think.”

PerthImp: “Superb performance, particularly the second half. Rochdale moved the ball about well in the first half but to little effect. The Imps upped their game in the second half and Rochdale had absolutely no idea how to counter them. Two great goals. Onwards and upwards Imps.”

Croozey: “3 points away from home. Always in command and we had room to play some lovely football, some nice through balls. The midfield were much more noticeable today at breaking up the Rochdale attacks. Everyone had a good game.”
