Ever-present Imp Rob Burch has become the first Imp to clock up 40 League appearances this season. Despite being unable to claw back the second despite actually making a fantastic save the keeper still very much holds the future in his own hands with Doncaster, Scunthorpe and Preston scouts in attendance yesterday.
Rob has had a fantastic season at the Imps and been a major contributor to our great chances of survival and we thank him for his service. According to sources it will be decision time for the keeper perhaps as early as this week. The Chessman wants Rob to stay whereas the crafty keeper will want to weigh up that record breaking contract and other options for as long as possible.
Rob looks well on the way to securing a free transfer at the end of the season but could he stay?
