Winter is over and the season is done.
We made it to Wembley but Blackpool won.
With no more games and promotion gone –
– it’s back to the grindstone to wait for League One.
But what shall we do now, with iFollow dead?
There is no Rate The Players and no match thread.
We can’t guess the score and we can’t rate the ref –
– a relief for John Busby, whose name starts with ‘F’.
We can thank our investors and that should be so.
And ogle our new pitch and watch the grass grow.
Or wait for an email from elite pro sports –
– and buy some more t-shirts and hoodies and shorts.
We could go on The Fishy and not be polite.
Or order some rosé and gin from Jay Wright.
We can monitor transfers and have a good rant –
– welcome the new guys and cling on to Grant. (please note: this was sent before Grant left)
That’s all very well, but it isn’t enough.
All that wine, season tickets and stuff.
Something is missing, I know what it is!
