Punters who fancy Lincoln for the League Two title better get on fast as the Imps’ price to top the division come next May continues to shrink, with just one firm (bwin) now offering a best price of 14-1.

Most bookies offer Danny Cowley’s men between 10-1 and 12s to bag a second consecutive title, while Sky Bet have City at just 8-1 for another championship-winning campaign, along with Betdaq.

The best price for City to win promotion is the 3-1 with Stan James, while the Imps are a general 11-4 for a top-three finish and 12-1 with Sky Bet to win the League Two play-offs.

Perhaps one of the most interesting prices on offer is bet365’s very attractive 33-1 on summer signing Matt Green to top the goalscoring charts, while former Imp Lee Angol is just 12-1 following his move to Mansfield earlier this summer. Both Matt Rhead and Ollie Palmer are 50-1, with Nathan Arnold rated a rank outsider at 150-1.

In another intriguing market, Lincoln are 5-1 (bet365) to be top Midlands club, ahead of Mansfield, Coventry, Notts County, Chesterfield and Port Vale, while they are 1-3 (Sky Bet) to achieve a top-half finish, and can also be backed at 18-1 to win the title with a +8 handicap.
