Post-match views from the Match Thread:

PerthImp: “Awful performance. No cohesion. No intensity. Did the players know each other? Nothing more to say.”

mikeosullivan: “I think us not scoring is something we will need to get used to. Some of the players looked as though they accepted we had no forwards and got more and more frustrated. Angry looks. Arms thrown up in desperation. Very worrying.”

sedgleyimp: “Only listening but that second 45 is probably the most concerning-sounding half of football we’ve played this season. Some players just seemed to stop trying and that’s a very rare occurrence for this team.

Performance in that 2nd half more of a concern than the result.

Big couple of weeks ahead I’d suggest”

Shanghai_Imp: “First half, it felt fairly even and we had a couple of decent clear-cut chances of which we should have scored at least one. A lack of recognised striker didn’t seem to have an impact in terms of build-up play and chance creation, at least.

Second half, everyone seemed to forget how to pass the ball 10 yards and it all went to pot, seeming like a no-hope performance.”
