Views from NottyImp after last night’s 0-0 draw at home against Wycombe Wanderers in League Two: “What a horrible game. But we had clear chances to win it. My first thought was that Rhead’s goal was disallowed for a push but would have to see it again.

Wycombe came to spoil, fouled in rotation and wasted time from the kick-off. A surprisingly unattractive team.

The referee was really pretty hopeless and simply couldn’t cope with the physicality of the encounter.

It was not what you would call entertainment, as such.”

Reaction from 100% Imps & Social Media:

JT_LCFC: “A decent point, Wycombe came for one and got one. However, we did run out of legs in the second half.

The biggest issue was the ref never got a grip of the time-wasting from the word go, the feigning of injuries etc. Surprised Wycombe came to spoil because they have some decent players when they play.

The ref lost total control and believe it or not this is a ref that is tipped to be in the Premier League in 3 years.”

UnbelievableJeff: “I have to say we had enough chances to win this tonight and we only have ourselves to blame.

If we had done that, the story of our season I am afraid, then we take away the gamesmanship element and the awful officiating.

For me, if we don’t make the top 7, for which I still think we will fail to do so, then I have to say it will be because of our so many drawn games.

We have to raise our game to the zenith for these last four games.

Is it possible? Of course. Will we do it? I really have no idea.”
