Ahead of tomorrow’s match away at Milton Keynes Dons in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City member what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.

You can discuss what has been said in this article HERE, as well as get involved with our pre-match threads: You can post your score predictions, discuss the starting XI, and predict the attendance!

We have also published a quiz about the last time the two sides met at Stadium MK, which can be found HERE, and there is also another 15-question quiz at the bottom of this article! Have a go at both!

Here’s what sedgleyimp said:

1. Attack. You might want to close off the whole thread with that one word. Mark Kennedy has said that he wants to attack the next scheduled games and in so many ways that is really only what supporters want to see. Defeats when the team has had a proper go for 90 minutes such as the recent game at Southampton are so much easier to swallow than some of the turgid games that have been witnessed of late. Supporters will be so much forgiving. But it is so much more than that. MK Dons are still in the bottom 4 and have lost their last two games despite a change in management. In all honesty, their issues were not their last coach. Liam Manning will get a good team quite soon. Their issue surrounds losing many of their best players from last season, but still looking to play the same way. It has cost them. They have not had the opportunity to rectify that with their new coach so we are still facing the same players who have so far this season struggled. So how do we use this to our advantage? Simple. Attack them. They will still be lacking that bit of confidence and if we get at them, they very much could struggle.

2. High Press. Now I don’t know if MK Dons are still playing out from the back, but in line with my previous point concerning how they have not as yet had the opportunity to bring too many new players in, there is a very good chance that this is still how they play. It has cost them goals this season. It earned us one against Accrington in midweek. Use this and use it often and we will cause them problems.

3. Dead Ball Delivery. It has been, bar the odd ball down the side from a free kick against Bolton, pretty poor of late. So many decent opportunities are lost by free kicks and corners failing. They also result in us being susceptible to a quick breakaway if they fall down. So these have to be better. Get the delivery right on these situations and games are so much easier to win.

Thank you to Graham Burrell and Lincoln City Football Club for the photograph!
