Both Adam Jackson and Brennan Johnson will play a part in the game against Wimbledon. Brennan may play more minutes with Adam playing a small part unless any issues crop up that may mean an extended part. Theo Archibald is off the injury list but making the squad may be in doubt.

Still, a couple of injury doubts with one or two who may require a fitness test. TJ has an issue with his knee but not a major concern and Anthony Scully is being monitored.

Michael Appleton is confident with who the Imps play in the play-offs and not concerned who we get. Teams will want to avoid the Imps; we are dangerous, exciting and on our day we can hurt teams.

Moving onto Wimbledon who have had a good run with a couple of mixed results of late. They play decent stuff and play with a little freedom that makes them dangerous. It should be an open attacking game, there are no real pressures or concerns, just go out enjoy it and get a decent result.

Michael Appleton mentioned the use of five substitutes and is unsure whether this will remain for next season. He did say, however, that it helps the squad and helps managers to deal with injuries a little easier. It also gives the players belief knowing that there are five places on the subs bench with the knowledge that an opportunity may arise if the manager wants to change things in the game or there is an injury for example.
