Lincoln City head to the Midlands this Saturday to face high flying Nuneaton Town at The Sperrin Brewery Stadium looking to make it back to back victories in the Skrill Premier Division. Nuneaton find themselves exceeding all expectations this season in the lofty heights of second place, however they are winless in their last three games.

Gary Simpson has no new injury concerns with Danny Rowe and Adi Yussuf both still long term absentees, so may decide to shuffle his pack to ease City’s woes on the road this season. Luke Foster who has been preferred away from home this season, may miss out to Nick Wright, as the Imps may look to put out a more aggressive team to get a result.

Todd Jordan who suffered a broken nose in the 3-0 win against Hyde thanks to Ben Tomlinson, will probably be preferred to the industrious Jake Sheridan whose form has been inconsistent so far this season. Two goal hero last time out Bohan Dixon, will be preferred from the bench again even after impressing against Hyde.

If the Imps are to get anything from the game they will need to stop Louis Moult from adding to his impressive goal tally of 9 this season. The former Stoke City academy striker has hit the ground running this season, and will be a handful for Andrew Boyce and Nat Brown and must be stopped if the Imps are to return back up the A46 with anything.

Last season both teams recorded a victory against each other with the Imps winning at Sincil Bank 2-1, and then falling to a 1-0 defeat in the return match. With both teams flying high this should be another close encounter, although the Imps will need to be a lot better on the road than last time out to get something from the game.
