This Saturday Lincoln City make the long trip to down south to Kent, to face their Skrill Premier Division Rivals Dartford at Princes Park, with the Imps looking to find their first victory away from Sincil Bank this season.

Lincoln have a couple of injury doubts ahead of the match, with Ben Tomlinson and Waide Fairhurst both carrying knocks from Mondays 2-0 victory against Wrexham. The Imps will definitely be without the suspended Alan Power, who serves the second of a three match ban after his red card against Cambridge.

After another clean sheet with Dan Gray at the back, boss Simpson will have a tough call to make at full back with the impressive Tom Miller being eased back to full fitness, and impressing in the defeat away to Cambridge. Danny Rowe who is yet to start a game away from home, may be replaced again by Luke Foster who will provide a lot more protection in front of the back four.

Dartford have had a mixed start to the season winning two and losing three of their five Skrill premier games so far this season. Danny Harris will be the man to stop if the Imps are to gain anything from the game after scoring one and setting up another in Monday’s victory against Tamworth.

Last season the Imps did the double against part timers Dartford, winning this fixture 4-2 at Princes Park and the reverse fixture at Sincil Bank 2-1. Judging by how well Lincoln have defended this season though, I can’t see a goal fest in this one though, with Lincoln more than happy to return home winning by the odd goal, with another clean sheet in the bag. Expect a 5-3 thriller now.
