Lincoln City head back to the capital this Saturday afternoon, in what will be there first visit to ‘The Hive’ Stadium, to face relegated Barnet in the Skrill Premier Division.
The Imps will be looking for a positive response after their lacklustre performance in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Salisbury. Returning skipper Alan Power should start, as should Jake Sheridan after his positive cameo last weekend.
Adi Yussuf has suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury ruling him out, but Nick Wright came through another behind closed doors game, and should be available for selection. Waide Fairhurst, who was poor last time out, will probably drop to the bench.
Barnet have begun life back in the conference under Edgar Davids fairly well and sit one place above the Imps in 3rd. The Imps will need to keep Jake Hyde quiet if they are to get anything from the game, with Hyde already finding the net 5 times this season. A tricky afternoon awaits Gary Simpsons men, who will be hoping they can repeat there last away game, where they defeated Dartford 2-1 two weeks ago.
The last time these two sides were in the same Division, Barnet saved themselves on the final day at the Imps expense, hopefully this time out Lincoln can have the last laugh, as they travel up the A1 with all three points.
