In a poll conducted on this site, 73 per cent fans voted in favour of ‘Starvin” Marvin’s return at the expense of leading goalscorer Birch.
Birch has come in for some criticism of late with a series of below-par displays, and Robinson has been chomping at the bit to be included from the start.
The former Derby County striker played a huge part in City’s transformation last Saturday after replacing Birch just past the hour mark. Within minutes of his arrival, City had fought back from a goal down to forge 2-1 ahead, before sealing a 3-1 success. And now fans think its time for him to be given his chance in the side.
Elsewhere, youngster Ollie Ryan, fresh from a loan spell at Ilekston received 13 per cent of the votes, while loanee Maheta Molango polled just six per cent.
