Ahead of tomorrow’s match at Sincil Bank versus Mansfield Town in League One, we take a look at some of the pre-match discussions on the forum and share our two new quizzes, one of which is about the history of Mansfield Town, and the other one other is about the last time City hosted them. Tomorrow’s referee is Sebastian Stockbridge and the kick-off is at 15:00.

GET INVOLVED: You can discuss what has been said in this article here, and many other topics on our 100% Imps forum! Also, have a go at both of the quizzes below (click the graphics).

Pre-match views from the forum:

Luke Imp: “I can’t think of many reasons to keep Duffy at LWB, the obvious one being that Roughan would have to shift and we’d end up with three right footed CB’s but I’d rather Roughan there and bring Montsma or Hamer in to be honest.

We’ll need to have a bit more about us when defending crosses with Gregory up front (and Flint at set pieces).”

mikeosullivan: “Wickens

Darikwa – Jackson – O’Connor – Roughan

Erhahon

McGrandles – Bayliss – Duffy

House – Makama

I thought we played more of a 4-4-2 at times in the last game than 3-5-2. Playing a back 4 would allow Duffy to play further forward as Roughan would do his defensive duties.

I wouldn’t mind Montsma being given a chance instead of Jackson, but as Montsma was not in the squad for the Barnsley game, I’m not sure what his fitness levels are like.

Having said that, I have a feeling it will be the same starting 11 as Barnsley, with Conor on the bench and JJ in midfield.”

sedgleyimp: “I’d certainly look to go with a 4 at the back. I’d also question if having just 2 centre-backs means we’d need a bit more pace than both Paudie and Jacko…

Wickens
Darikwa – Hamer – O’Connor – Roughan
Erhahon
McGrandles – Bayliss – Moylan
House – Makama

Subs: Jeacock, Jackson, Montsma, Duffy, McKiernan, Street, Draper.

2-0 win for Imps.”
