Lincoln City v Fleetwood Town – Prepare For Touchline Tantrums

The Football League has now announced the officials that will take charge of the match between Lincoln City and Fleetwood Town in Sky Bet League One.

Lincoln City host Fleetwood Town on Saturday, August 31 for the match at Sincil Bank and the match carries a 3.00pm kick-off.

Referee: Stephen Martin.
Assistants Refs: Mark Jones and Nik Barnard.
Fourth Official: Philip Dermott.

Stephen Martin started refereeing in 2003 and ran his first line in an English Football League match in 2007 after quickly progressing through the ranks.

His rapid rise saw him appointed to the English Football League’s assistant referee list in 2008 and to the National League referee list the same year.

After four years, he became an English Football League referee and has been in charge of more than 200 matches, including being appointed as the Fourth Official for the League One Play-Off Final between Barnsley and Millwall in 2016.

As part of the Professional Game Match Officials Board exchange programme, Stephen Martin visited Japan in 2013 where he refereed three matches in the J-League.
