The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe was The Imps Man of The Match in their 1-1 draw at home against Wycombe Wanderers in League One.

Views from syimp: “Norton-Cuffey. His 15-minute cameo on Tuesday night did not prepare me for his performance on Saturday.

The boy has no fear, going straight down the middle against a physical Wycombe was an awesome sight. His close control is excellent: combined with his pace, this makes him a dangerous opponent.

Stopped numerous crosses in the second half, by closing his opposite number effectively.

Thought the whole of the back four did very well, incidentally, despite the minor aberration at the end.

Can’t wait to see more of Norton-Cuffey, though. He’s going to terrorise defences.”

Views from our poll thread on our 100% Imps forum:

PerthImp: “McGrandles for me, purely on the basis of his outstanding work rate throughout the game and his defensive work in particular. Others put in a valuable contribution (Marquis, Poole, Bramall) but shout-out to Mr. Norton-Cuffy for his great debut 👏👏 A lot more of that that to come I hope 🤞🤞.”

berksimps: “McGrandles held it together at times, he gets it for his 90-minute performance. But only just from Norton-Coffey who really got stuck in and gave everyone something to smile about with his dazzling runs. What a debut.”

Cricklewoodimp: “Conor McGrandles. He will be a big miss when he gets his enevitable two-game suspension. Also, an excellent first start for BNC – it’s great having a player who gets you off your seat.”
