Views from hulloutpost: “Wright for the clean sheet and the match-defining point he secured in the last minute. Battling performances from the team all round but that was the stand-out moment from our perspective.”

Views from our poll thread on our 100% Imps forum:

Norfolk Imp: “Wright was excellent but sorry BNC is on another level again …. outstanding against a decent opponent (£10m Clarke) particularly in the 2nd half.”

berksimps: “Thought Bramall had a strong game, particularly first half. Going forward or tracking back, Gooch didn’t get near him. Wright put in a great performance, kicked well, and made a ridiculously good save. Jackson was the best defender, and won almost everything. Whittaker made a noticeable improvement when he came on.

Hard choice but went for Bramall.”

sedgleyimp: “If this poll had finished in the 89th minute it would have been Jackson who was terrific throughout, but that wonder save tipped it to Wright for me.”

syimp: “Wright, for the best save I’ve ever seen from a Lincoln keeper (I don’t count Bursik’s).

Bramall worked his socks off and his defending has improved beyond measure. BNC had an excellent second half. Poole, Jackson, and Walsh kept it tight and Whittaker put in a great cameo.”
