Lincoln City 0-0 AFC Wimbledon: Match Stats & Views From The Forum

Views from PerthImp following the 0-0 draw at home against AFC Wimbledon: “Bit of a nothing game, but it’s what we wanted to a degree. Hopefully no injuries and now we can spend some time on the training ground trying a few new moves & FKs. The only worry for me was the lack of sharp inter-play which has been our hallmark this season, plus the finishing which seemed to be more than a bit off. Still, I’m sure MA will sort it all out before the first PO game. Now the fun begins.”

Rasenimp: Gotta be honest, probably the team I wanted least in the playoffs and I’m not really sure what our best team is now / who starts at centre back. Bit of an underwhelming last couple of games.

BUT fantastic effort to finish 5th.”

hulloutpost: “Pleasant on the eye game. Wimbledon, a bit more football from them than earlier in the season. The only slight concern was the lack of sharpness in front of goal.

The question for me is will the meaningfulness of the play-offs cause us to sharpen up in front of goal or conversely tighten up even more.”

imps_joe: “Last game of the league of a fantastic season.

Frustrating not to score, but a clean sheet and more importantly no injuries or red cards. Hopefully saving our goals for the play-offs.

Can’t wait for the play-offs.”
