OOH Lincoln ladies, start the New Year or rather don’t start, with a cancellation of their forthcoming fixture against Sheffield Wednesday Ladies. The match is in the WFA Cup and has been postponed due to the inclement conditions.
Geoff Adams, OOH Ladies chairperson confirmed this today.
After wishing a, ‘Happy New Year to you all!’
He went on to say –
‘The match will be re-scheduled to the following week – 17/01/10 – and will replace our Northern Division league fixture, due to be played at home against Leicester.
When I have a new date for that match I will let you know.
In the meantime – to confirm – our next match will be the re-arranged 4th Round FA Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday at Ashby Avenue, which will kick off on Sunday 17th Jan (1pm)’.
That is of course if the weather abates and conditions improve. Fingers crossed and good luck from Vital Lincoln for the rest of the season and with the bid that could see OOH Lincoln playing in the national Superleague next season.
