Q – How long have you been following the Mighty Imps and what was your first game?

Born in 1956 remember watching the Imps from about ’67-68. Can’t remember my fiirst game but do remember us beating Newcastle in the league cup, when was that about 68-69?

Q – What is your most memorable moment as an Imp? Good and Bad.

Good has got to be the Taylor era, bad, relegation to the conference, I was devastated!

Most worrying though would have to be the administration in 82.

Q – Since you have been following LCFC, what would your best eleven be?

Lets go back to the Taylor side, put a few more in, Ainsworth, Hobson, Freck, Forrester, Yeo, Huckerby as well.

Q – Who is your all-time favourite player?

Gotta be big Percey Freeman absolute legend and gent.

Q – Who is your current favourite?

Probably Freck, just hope we can keep him for a few more seasons.

Q – What would you say is the best goal you have seen The Mighty Imps score?

Difficult one, lots spring to mind but several of Yeo’s were good, a lot coming out of nothing.

His goal against Scunthorpe when he brought it down between two defenders and drove it bottom right corner was a classic.

Q – Best away ground visited?

Ground or venue? I do like the West Country grounds in the summer, Torquay is always a good weekend, nice to see Exeter back with us. I think the best away ground for overall enjoyment would be Fulham when we were both in the old 3rd division.

Q – What are your thoughts on the rumoured stadium plans?

I think as long as we stay at Sincil Bank I’ll be happy, our ground and location is the envy of many teams. Let’s develop it to it’s full potential. I can’t see us ever having to relocate to a soulless out of town shopping centre extension.

Q – Which player(s) would you like to see us sign? (realistically)

Dunno, I don’t think we should sign over the hill big names though. We have a lot of potential coming through the youth set-up, let’s hang on to these for as long as we can.

Q – What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations?

We ended well (except against Wrexham) it would have been nice to finish in the top half with a win.

Felt for Schoey when he was sacked but the football under him was very poor and the writing was on the wall!

Expectations were high preseason but dipped dramatically after the first home game!

Q – What are your expectations for season 125?

Dare I say very high?

Q – Where do you sit and why?

Myself and my lad have season tickets in the Co-op upper, I used to stand on the old Sincil terrace in the 70’s and it brings back good memories.

The view from where we sit is excellent and the other people around us are regulars that we can have a chat & banter with.
