Jacko & Adrian Showdown Next Week?

Fans favourite Adrian Patulea will be back from his holiday next week according to three sources. The big question then, will he remain an Imp? Or will the Count join Macclesfield, Chesterfield, or laughably Scunthorpe? In reality all four options are unlikely, though Jacko has not ruled out a way back despite already signing 2 of his desired 3 strikers. A target man of some sort is clearly desirable but Adi`s fox in the box predatory skills still have a place in the side.

Unless Jacko grabs another quick break, next week will finally end the speculation and more than likely break a few hearts. Either a deal will be struck, Adi will say no or Jacko’s subtle absence will tell a story in itself. We fans will always have a soft spot for Adrian Patulea, but public opinion suggests Peter Jackson has be right on this occasion. And as everyone knows you can`t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
