Lincoln City have reportedly agreed to pay Hereford around £5,000 for Canadian striker Gavin McCallum after the two clubs came to an agreement over a compensation package.
There is also said to be a 25 per cent sell-on clause for the Bulls included in the deal for the 22-year-old who scored eight goals for Hereford last season. He has penned a two-year deal at Sincil Bank.
The figure quoted is similar to the one mentioned by Hereford chairman David Keyte at a fans forum a couple of weeks ago in which he admitted his club were unlikely to receive much more than that sum should the matter be decided upon at a tribunal.
City now need to thrash out a deal with Torquay for Mustapha Carayol, although this will almost certainly be settled at a tribunal as an agreement between the clubs looks unlikely.
