Frank Sinclair is set to make his League debut for the Imps alongside Kovacs, Green and Brown. There will be no crock of gold at the end of that rainbow for Lee Beevers despite a magnificent performance against Derby. Beeee-verrrrs!

Stefan Oakes may miss the start tomorrow – though Jacko did use that wheeze prior to the Derby game. It would appear that a dead leg may delay the Peelers Sincil debut. He is rated at 50/50 at the moment. Lee Frecklington looks set to deputise in a game he and the Imps are desperate to shine in. A win tomorrow will kick start our season and see the return of a favourite Sincil son at least a month ahead of schedule. Many feared Freck`s shoulder dislocation would keep him out until October. Lee will be keen to kick start a key season in his career no doubt, as he partners Scott Kerr in the middle with Dany and Lenny favourites to play on the flanks. Ben Wright and Kevin Gall will start up front with Mullarkey and Graham on the bench.

Needless to say after hammering Chester 6-0 on opening day Dagenham boss John Still is naming an unchanged side. Bet he’s still got the same socks and boxer shorts on too!

Jacko is cautious though typically upbeat according to todays chat with Radio Lincolnshire. ‘We know it’s going to be a tough game for us. There’ll be no frills about Dagenham, they’ll get the ball forward as quickly as they can so we have to compete, we have to battle with them. It’s a big game so hopefully we’ll kick-start our season on Saturday.’

So raw meat only for Kovacs and Kerr at the prematch meal.
