Fourth Round fixtures will take place following the World Cup break in the week commencing 19th December, with two matches selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports.

Scotimp: “That’s the third time we have drawn Southampton in the League Cup since we bounced back in 1988. Went to the first two away games, but this one is an impossibility for me.
So, 18 of the last 21 League Cup draws have been away… and all five ‘open’ draws so far this season. Thank goodness we won our group in the Pizza, or that would have been away as well.”

Was really hoping for a pre-Xmas outing to Anfield or Old Trafford and will have to rely on the vivid sound pictures of Makepeace and Hone.

Could have been worse. Could have been better. Chance for the players to play in a good sized Premier League Stadium. A game we will have a chance as Wednesday took them to penalties the other night. Just don’t let Ward-Prowse control the match.”
