The Imps will be showing their 3-2 win away at Forest Green Rovers from November 2016 on their YouTube channel at 15:00 tomorrow, so I thought I would bring you the answers we got for our “Who Are Ya?” feature ahead of this match.

You can also join our #ImpsRewind Match Thread on 100% Imps! Having looked back through the articles published before this match, it would appear we didn’t publish an article about the match officials, a summary of what Danny Cowley said before the match and it was definitely before we introduced our “3 Things To Beat” feature.

Thank you to Forest Green Rovers Supporter Isabelle for answering these questions!

How Long Have You Supported Forest Green Rovers?

I have supported Forest Green Rovers for 2 years and this is my second year as an Ambassador.

Last Season’s League Finish?

Finishing second was, of course, disappointing but getting to play at Wembley was amazing. Losing this match and staying the National League for another year was also annoying but we have a strong team and I hope that we are going up this season!

What Do You Think Of Your Manager?

Cooper is an amazing manager who has done some much for the club in such a short amount of time. He has completed changed the way Forest Green play football but definitely, for the better, I mean we are top of the league!

Hopes/Expectations This Season?

I expect that with Cooper’s help we finish in the top 3. I hope we finish 1st because I don’t want to go through the stress of playoffs again!

One(s) To Watch? (Your players)

I would definitely keep an eye out for Clough and Bennett two of our back four. They are strong players who are amazing at keeping the ball out of the box and the goal. Pinnock is also a great player who may seem tall and unstable but can hold his own in the box, keeping out may oppositions. As for our strikers, Doidge’s recent goals have set him apart from the others and he has been in the starting line up for a while now which is well deserved.

Top Five Predictions?

Forest Green Rovers, Tranmere Rovers, Lincoln City, Dover Athletic and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Bottom Four Predictions?

Guiseley AFC, Woking FC, York City and North Ferriby United.

Thoughts on Lincoln City?

Lincoln seem like a tough team especially since they are just behind us in the race for 1st place. I just hope we can hold them off for 90 minutes!!

Score Prediction?

1-0 to Forest Green.

Random Fact About Your Club?

We have a few Forest Green supporters who are poets who write match poems on our forum that are definitely worth a read!

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Forest Green Rovers Supporter?

I was proud to stand with the other Forest Green supporters at Wembley supporting our club in their nerve-racking game. Luckily I have not had any truly embarrassing moments at the club but I’m sure I will!

Which was your most favourite match involving Forest Green Rovers?

I loved the Cheltenham game last season at home as the atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking. The noise was almost too loud but it spurred on the player’s and really brought the game to life. I also enjoyed my recent away trip to Macclesfield as it was great to be an away supporter!

Which was your least favourite match involving Forest Green Rovers?

I don’t think I have a least favourite match but I would have to say that the loss at Wembley last season was very disappointing but I know the players tried their hardest to win and the setting of the match was fantastic so it was not a bad match.

Have you ever thought about supporting a proper football club rather than a rich boys village plaything?

No, never. I do have a Premier League club who I like and sometimes watch on telly but I watch Forest Green matches at every opportunity and would never swap them for another team!!

I would not call the club a rich boys plaything as Dale Vince does not think that the club is a game. He takes it seriously as you can see by our new stadium that is in the design stages. Also, the football is not all about the amount of money you can throw around, it’s about the players, their ability and hard work, and it’s about the supporters, who spend money and give up their time to go and watch their local club exceed at football.

Would a Curtis Pork Pie be allowed into the Ground if accompanied by a pensioner?

I don’t know about this, you would have to ask the boss, Dale Vince!
