Following on from the success of the two recent Fans Charity matches against supporters from Grimsby Town the Imps Fans Team are set to continue as a footballing entity.
They are planning to form a Sunday league team next season playing from the Railway Inn in Thorpe-On-The-Hill.
There are about 12-13 players coming along who were part of the fans team and possibly more. The pub are kindly paying for the fees to get the team into the league and the cup competitions but the funding unfortunately cannot stretch to the players kit.
They are now looking for an individual or business who may be willing to sponsor them?
In short they looking for a local businessman or woman who if they help the Fans Team out by buying their kit can have their business name splashed across the front of the shirts…any takers? The cost would be in the region of £400.
