How long have you supported Swindon Town?
I have supported Swindon all my life. I was four when I went to my first home game.
Where did you finish last season?
Last season we finished 9th, just outside the playoff positions.
What do you think of your Manager?
Personally, I don’t like Phil Brown, although I do think we’ll do well under him.
What are your hopes and expectations for this season?
My hopes for this season is that we win the League but my realistic expectations are that we go up through the playoffs. We nearly did it last year but due to managerial change, we slipped out of the playoffs.
One(s) to watch?
I’d say there are 3 players to watch out for:
1. Steven Alzate – he’s a very creative midfielder, however, we might play him up front because creating chances is his thing.
2. Matty Taylor – he might not be playing big-time football anymore but he’s still got the wonder left foot in his locker. His free kick from 38 yards out versus Wycombe Wanderers definitely proves that.
3. Lawrence Vigouroux – a great goalkeeper who Swindon couldn’t do without. Although he can make a few silly mistakes overall he can decide if we win a game or lose.
Who do you think will finish in the top 7?
Notts County, Lincoln City, Milton Keynes Dons, Northampton Town, Mansfield Town, Swindon Town and Crawley Town.
Who do you think will finish in the bottom 2?
Macclesfield Town and Newport County.
What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?
I think Lincoln City are a very good team that will be promoted this season because of the confidence you play with. It’s very important to be confident when attacking and defending and I think Lincoln has that.
What do you think the score will be?
2-2.
What will your likely default formation and style of play be for this season?
I think we will play a 4-3-3 formation with a very attacking style of play starting from the back.
Random fact about your Club?
We have the worst record in the Premier League.
If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?
I think it would have to be Matt Rhead because he’s a prolific goalscorer.
What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Swindon Town Supporter?
My proudest moment as a Swindon fan would have to be when we won League Two and my most embarrassing moment as a Swindon fan would be when we lost 4-0 at Wembley to Preston.
Who would you say is your most underrated player?
The most underrated player would have to be Scott Twine as he is young he doesn’t get much playing time ahead of older players although in pre-season he looked very good.
Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?
We do have a Supporters Trust. They are currently trying to buy the stadium of Swindon Borough Council.
Which was your favourite match involving Swindon Town?
My favourite match would have to be 5-5 versus Sheffield United in the playoff semi-final.
Which was your least favourite match involving Swindon Town?
4-0 versus Preston at Wembley.
