In which year did Hull reach the FA Cup Final?

Sam Purkiss has been the man in the middle for two matches involving The Imps:

01/12/20: Lincoln City 2-1 Wigan Athletic (League One) – 2 yellow cards
26/01/21: Portsmouth 0-1 Lincoln City (League One) – 5 yellow cards and 1 red card

TOTALS: Matches: 2 Yellow Cards: 7 Red Cards: 1

He received an average rating of 6.36 following the 1-0 win away at Portsmouth in January. Some of the comments can be found below:

plumbob: “I’m going 5. Generally, OK. Didn’t think it was a red. Definitely thought he would send someone off at some point though.”

PerthImp: “5.5 – not at all sure. The first half I think he intended to stamp his authority to allow a football match to break out. A bit inconsistent as if he booked the Pompey players he should have booked Bridcutt. Not convinced with the red card – think it looked worse than it was but a better angle might have shown it clearer. Second half he eased up and was slightly better.”

berksimps: “He made a decision on the spur of the moment for the red card, which many refs might have bottled. He allowed some beautiful football at times while trying to play the advantage. The free-kicks given to Portsmouth towards the end were fair enough and both sides had half a shout for a penalty.

Gets a decent 7 from me, we’ve had far worse.”
