Hereford Strike Duo a Big Threat

The main threat from Hereford tomorrow will be the formidable strike partnership of Stuart Fleetwood and Frenchman Mathieu Manset.

The latter came off the bench in the first match and scored the penalty that earned the Bulls the replay against the Imps at Sincil Bank.

Since then this partnership has scored 16 goals since October and Hereford appear to be moving upwards in the League which could be an issue for City.

Fleetwood has bagged 7 of the goals this season and he and Manset will be a handful for Lincoln’s decimated central defence. With Watts out injured and Danny Hone cup tied (great decision to let him play for Darlo that was) the only recognised central defender available is Moses Swaibu.

That means either Paul Green, who has come back from a fairly lengthy injury, or Gavin Hoyte will be asked to stifle the considerable threat from the Hereford pair. It seems Hoyte has played for the Arsenal reserves on a number of occasions and at 6′ tall as opposed to Green who is 5’8′ may be the best answer to the 6’1′ Manset who is also built like a tank.

Good luck whoever it is!
