“He was a constant threat to the Vale defence.”

Following Saturday’s 6-2 win away at Port Vale in Sky Bet League Two, we asked our members what three things they learned.

Here’s what Gratzimp said:

1. When we practice our set pieces and change and mix and match them, they can garner results. That said though, we were playing a team that gave us free reign at set pieces and couldn’t defend for toffee. Not sure whether the ones we were so successful at would work against better teams.

2. Our reputation is starting to affect refereeing decisions, our ‘gamesmanship’ is probably a big factor in why Frecklington never got a penalty (and the fact the referee wasn’t very good). We have to cut down a bit on this as we don’t really have to do it anymore.

3. Rheady isn’t finished yet, he laid off some lovely balls and he was a constant threat to the Vale defence all game. If only he was 10 years younger he would be a dream.
