Ahead of Saturday afternoons Sky Bet League Two fixture at home against Milton Keynes Dons, we asked our members what three things they think we need to do to beat them.

Here’s what NottyImp said:

1. Be patient. MK Dons will probably sit back, pass it around and try to nick it with a single goal. We will have to be alert, wary and take the time to exert pressure, which will hopefully lead to a goal. It could be a very tight game given the two teams respective records to date.

2. Use Akinde. He has the ability and guile to unlock defences at this Level. But he will need to ball into his feet/chest, ideally, not launched from deep at height.

3. Maximise our set-pieces. Some have noted that these are not as effective as in previous seasons under the Cowleys. Perhaps it’s time to revisit our routines and look for different angles from corners and free-kicks. We have a different set of players, now, so everything needs to be up for re-evaluation. Certainly, we need to find someone who can take a decent free-kick if shooting for goal.
