The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe was The Imps Man of The Match in their 1-0 defeat at home against Crawley Town in Sky Bet League Two.

Views from Jaggy Imp: “Close run between Bostwick and Andrade for me but I thought that Bossie just shaded it. Yes, he scored an own goal but he was rock solid at the back and gave us some energy going forward too. He was immense when we went down to 10 and was one of the reasons why we were able to take the game to Crawley.”

Here’s how the poll finished:

Smith: 1 vote – 2.9%
O’Connor: 0 votes – 0.0%
Shackell: 13 votes – 37.1%
Pett: 1 vote – 2.9%
Frecklington: 0 votes – 0.0%
Andrade: 7 votes – 20.0%
Toffolo: 1 vote – 2.9%
Bostwick: 10 votes – 28.6%
Eardley: 0 votes – 0.0%
Anderson: 0 vote – 0.0%
Akinde: 2 votes – 5.7%
McCartan: 0 votes – 0.0%
Mensah: 0 votes – 0.0%

Some of the comments:

berksimps: “A difficult choice today. Bossie was inconsistent and gave away the OG. Smith looked unsure, and his kicking was poor (three straight into touch). Akinde was ineffective. No-one outstanding thought Anderson, Andrade, Pett and Shackell put in a shift.”

Luke Imp: “Everyone was a bit ‘meh’.

Shackell probably stood out, though. Bostwick did well against Palmer given that the latter had a 6 or 7″ advantage on him.

Pett, Smith, Anderson all poor.”

impsimps: “Shackell, he gave a very calm display when most of the others, apart from Andrade, had a combined off day.”
