Former Rangers winger and Lincoln City enigma Djombo ‘Dany’ N’Guessan has completed a loan move from his current club Leicester City to Southampton until the end of the season.

You either loved him or hated him, he blew hot and he blew cold but when on song there were very few League defences who could hold him back as he skipped past them with pace and power in a Lincolc City shirt.

In 2009 he asked for permission to talk to Leicester City having turned down the offer of a new contract at Sincil Bank. Intitially things went went quite well for him and he made 33 appearances for the Foxes scoring 3 goals.

But having fallen out of favour at the Walkers Stadium the 23 year old Frenchman was sent on loan to Scunthorpe United and has now joined Southampton in the January window. Maybe Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson does not rate the flying Frenchman.

Good luck to the lad, he did play 91 times for the Imps and bagged 16 goals in the process some of which were the best individual efforts seen at Sincil Bank.
