Imps duo Paul Farman and Vadaine Oliver have been selected for the England C contingency squad for the forthcoming International Challenge Trophy semi-final tie against Turkey, on February 5.

England coach Paul Fairclough has selected a 16-man ‘first-team’ squad, with former Lincoln striker Scott Spencer included, with Forest Green having the most players included with three.

Despite Farman’s recent indifferent spell, he is still in Fairclough’s plans, although Ebbsfleet keeper Preston Edwards and Welling United stopper Sam Mott have been included in the main squad. Oliver’s recent performances have brought him to the attention of the England coach, although he may have to wait a while before he gets his first ‘C’ cap.
