Former Nottingham Forest full back Joe Anderson and product of the Tottenham Hotspur Academy Cian Hughton are both now being linked with possible loans to non league clubs.

With a number of incoming players Steve Tilson will be working hard to balance the playing budget and keep players out of favour in the minds of other future potential employers.

With that in mind it looks likely that young Hughton and Anderson will move to pastures new. Hughton is possibly going to Newport County and Anderson to Eastbourne but nothing has been confirmed as yet.

Many will be surprised that Paul Green has also apparently put in a request to go out on loan. A player who has always given 100% for the Imps is rumoured to be looking at going to another League 2 club. Former Fans Player of the Season Greeny must be a managers dream playing in both full back positions and centre back when called to do so.

He must be looking at the signings of Gavin Hoyte and Julian Kelly and assuming that the writing is on the wall for him and it’s time to seek a new challenge away from Sincil Bank.
