Ahead of Saturday afternoons home match against Cambridge United in Sky Bet League Two, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to secure all three points.

Here’s what sedgleyimp said:

1. Keep the variety on the set-pieces. The value of these was shown at Vale last Saturday. Accepting that it is unlikely that Cambridge won’t defend them as poorly as Vale did the movement of the players and the delivery of the balls in caused their defence constant problems and this needs to continue.

2. Quick balls to the flanks. We have two speed merchants with Bruno and Harry and our best performances have come when they run with the ball against defenders who struggle to deal with that kind of play.

3. Don’t underestimate Cambridge. They are on a poor run of form and ship quite a few goals but as we know anyone can beat anyone in this league and their attempts on goal per game are quite high and will result in goals eventually. Don’t assume this will be a walkover based upon the league table. The Imps will win if they maintain their own performance levels.
