A poor display from Lincoln City’s reserve side saw them lose 2-0 to Scarborough in their Pontin’s League battle at Ashby Avenue.
The Imps, who included first-teamers Lee Beevers, Luke Foster, Matt Bloomer, Marvin Robinson and Maheta Molango, fell behind early on when Seadogs striker Michael Coulson cashed in on hesistancy in the home defence to put the Conference side 1-0 up.
And the visitors, who dominated throughout, added a second through Ashley Lyth. The result sees Boro overtake City at the top of the table.
