Twenty-five year old Carla is the director of her own Loughborough-based hotel promotion company, and has played for Newquay where she scored 40 goals, National Division side Bristol Academy, plus she played professional football for SPA Alicante in Spain for a year before joining Leeds at the beginning of the season.

‘We are very pleased to have Carla in the squad’, said delighted City manager Rod Wilson. ‘She is a quality player who will add substantial depth to the side as well as bringing real quality and composure to the team on the field. She is fantastic player in both attacking midfield and striker roles, so she will give me real options during the rest of our campaign after Christmas. We were all delighted when she said she would come to us, and I believe she will play a vital role for us during the rest of our promotion campaign this season’ he said.
