Two goals in five minutes stopped the Imps from acquiring a crucial point in their quest to stay in the Blue Square Premier, with fans fairly unanimous in marking this performance out as an average one.

Unusually the range in marks was low, with 5.85 the lowest average (from NottyImp) and the highest 6.21 from Blake. The similarity in marks was also in apparent in Vital posters’ assessment of Tom Miller, who got a very decent mark of 7.71. The former Newport player has been remarkably consistent this season in an at times shaky Imps’ backline, and this score only sees him add to his lead at the top of the leader board.

Second player went to a similarly consistent player, Alan Power. He has put a string of solid performances in and his 7.00 (7’s across the board for him this week) continues that trend. NottyImp noted that he is really City’s only creative player, while Snats noted he was “integral” to City’s performance.

Paul Farman’s decent run of form came to an abrupt halt as questions were once again asked about his distribution. Most tried not to be too harsh but his mistake was reflected in a mark of 5.14, a score mirrored by Tony Diagne who is yet to impress as well as debutant Gomez Dali who did little in his cameo.
