City managed a decent point away at Field Mill on Tuesday, shutting out a Mansfield side who had taken thirteen points from fifteen in their last five home games. Unfortunately there was no such luck the previous Saturday, as City fell to their third home defeat this season. How did you rate City’s performances?

For once, Paul Farman did not boast the highest score of the weekend with his error curtailing his consistent run of scores over 6. The former Gateshead number one could thus only manage a score of 5.43. Instead, far and away the winner was Jamie Taylor with a score of 7.14. That was Taylor’s highest rating since he managed 7.22 against Macclesfield in August – hopefully he is back in favour with Mr Holdsworth now! Nottingham Forest loanee David Morgan came second with 6.79, a much improved score for the midfielder who struggled against Forest Green in particular (4.33). The most disappointing performances last Saturday though came from Peter Bore (4.14) and a rather lost looking Mamadou Fofana (4.71).

The full ratings for the Luton game are as follows:

Paul Farman 5.43
Dan Gray 5.43
Andrew Boyce 5.29
Tom Miller 6.43
Peter Gilbert 5.57
Peter Bore 4.14
Nicky Nicolau 5.29
David Morgan 6.79
Mamadou Fofana 4.71
Adam Smith 5.43
Jamie Taylor 7.14

Colin Larkin 6.00
Conner Robinson 5.71

Against Mansfield the ratings were slightly higher on average, with Paul Farman well and truly back in favour! City’s ‘keeper took the highest rating of an Imps’ player this season with 8.25, trumping Vadaine Oliver’s 8.00 away at Telford.

Tom Miller and Jamie Taylor both scored well again (7.25) while Fofana and Dan Gray managed 6.75 and 6.50 respectively, although it was another day to forget for Peter Bore (5.00). The ratings for the Mansfield game are here:

Paul Farman 8.25
Dan Gray 6.50
Andrew Boyce 6.00
Tom Miller 7.25
Peter Gilbert 6.25
Peter Bore 5.00
Nicky Nicolau 5.75
Mamadou Fofana 6.75
Adam Smith 5.50
Jamie Taylor 7.25
Colin Larkin 6.25

Jake Sheridan 4.75
Conner Robinson 5.25
