It wasn’t exactly a vintage City performance but the Imps will probably be happy to take a point having been comfortably second best for long periods.

The standout performer however was Jake Sheridan, who was his typical industrious self. He scored a rating of 6.82, richly deserved as at times he appeared to be the only one seriously trying! Alan Power, who showed quite a few neat touches and put in some dangerous set pieces was tied in second place with Tom Miller (6.36) who put in some uncompromising challenges.

The worst scorers were Gary Mills (4.40) who did little before going off with a serious looking injury, and David Morgan (5.00) who couldn’t really get hold of the game in central midfield. Goal scorer Conner Robinson failed to influence the game very much but bagged a score of 5.91 thanks to his well taken leveller.
