The Imps rescued a late, late point at Ebbsfleet on Saturday and while it wasn’t exactly a vintage performance it was important to get on the board ahead of some tough fixtures.

It’s safe to say that City fans saw the game in a fairly similar way, too. Very unusually, four players were tied for man of the match with Tom Miller, Scott Garner, Paul Robson and Alan Power all scoring 7.25. The lowest scorer was Nicky Nicolau, who usually does pretty well in the player ratings threads but only mustered an average of 5.00, slightly worse than Dan Gray who was a little lax for the Ebbsfleet goal (5.25). Conner Robinson’s well taken equaliser earned him a score of 7.00, while the average score was 6.16. That’s much higher than the score obtained in the home fixture between the two sides (5.37).

The scores mean that Tom Miller once again extends his lead over Jamie Taylor in the overall standings.
