Derek Asamoah looks set to leave Sincil Bank with the news he has been given permission to speak with Chester City about a possible move.

The former Northampton and Mansfield forward has fallen out of favour recently at Lincoln and Chester boss Keith Curle is keen to be re-united with his former Stags player.

It is thought Asamoah will initially pen a loan deal with the Deva Stadium outfit with a view to a permanent deal.

Curle is also thinking about whether to sign Doncaster midfielder Adriano Rigoglioso after impressing on trial, and will make a definite decision after their reserves match tonight.

Curle said of the 26-year-old: ‘We’ve got permission from Doncaster for him to play for the reserves and then we’ll be making a decision.’
