Ahead of tonight’s Checkatrade Trophy game against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to win.

1. Play our first team. But as we’re not going to do that, we’re going to have to have a Plan B.
2. Plan B. Pack the midfield and hope to break up play and disrupt the game as much as possible. Time-waste shamelessly. Foul Scunthorpe in a rotation – remember, yellow cards don’t transfer from this competition to the League! Endlessly badger the 4th official and the ref/linesmen as they walk off at half-time. Channel the very darkest heart and most cynical approach possible for a football game.
3. Plan B continued. After frustrating The Iron for 93 minutes, nick a late winner in added time from a set-piece scramble in their box that ricochet’s in off Rhead’s backside. Travel home with a big, cheesy grin with the thought “Job done!” in mind.
