What 3 Things do we need to do to beat Carlisle United at Brunton Park tomorrow afternoon?
1. Tighten up our defence. With their wider pitch, the back four will need to be a well-drilled unit to stop us getting overrun and the midfield will need to shut down marauding runs as early as possible. Maybe having Bozzie in the middle might be the answer…
2. Give good service to the fast outside players as well as to Rheady. He’s a unique asset and always delivers but it makes our game a bit too easy to read sometimes. I can see us shifting formation quite drastically at 60-65 minutes given how seamlessly it worked on Friday.
3. Keep our eyes on Monday’s prize. Wembley is close enough to touch and the excitement is building, but every match is a Cup Final on the run-in and getting a result against Carlisle will set us up beautifully for a busy April.
