1. Danny and Nicky outthought another highly rated manager by designing a strategy to deny their flair players possession and it worked magnificently. It was yet another day where the fans of a higher placed “better footballing” team were forced to acknowledge that their team “just hadn’t turned up”
2. There are times when we get the rub of the green with refs. This was one of them, let’s not forget that too quickly.
3. Many (if not all) of the team thought they would win on Sunday, that’s a tribute to the mentality that Danny and Nicky have instilled in the team and the quality of the character of the squad they have put together.
