Before the game against Exeter City we asked our members “What 3 Things do we need to do to beat Exeter City?”

After the game, we asked our members “What 3 Things did we learn from the 3-2 win against Exeter City?”

1. Anyone underestimating the Imps’ will to win is sadly deluded. We may not have Sean Raggett with us this season to say ‘We’re not going to let anyone run away with this league’ but it’s still true. The whole squad is completely committed to the win every time and all want to excel.

2. Danny’s eye for a good player to fit the side and add value is getting better and better and we’d do well to get Wharton and Eardley in particular contracted ASAP if it’s at all possible. Wharton especially has been a revelation and we all know by now how good Eardley is.

3. We still need to get out there early on and keep a clean sheet in the first 30 minutes especially. Yes, we came back brilliantly but there was no need to have that added pressure to deal with. The defence is great as individuals but sometimes seem not to be entirely working as a unit.
