After the game, we asked our members “What 3 Things did we learn from the 4-1 defeat against Crewe Alexandra?”

1. The error-strewn defence belonged to us. The defence was constantly exposed by an absent midfield, Crewe simply ran the ball diagonally through Frecklington and Woodyard and were on to Long in seconds. Bostwick almost seemed to be trying too hard. Needs to go back into midfield to help protect the defence, or we need to play Whitehouse instead of Frecklington.

2. Relationships between Mr Artell and his supporters will probably have improved yesterday.

3. No point in having fresh legs on the bench if you are 4-1 down by the 68th minute. With the exception of the final 5 – 10 minutes, Lincoln didn’t get close enough to the Crewe goal to do any damage anyway.
